A 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred on the territory of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service informed NEWS.am.

The seismological network of territorial seismic protection service of Armenia's Emergency Ministry registered the earthquake at 17:02 local time on Friday (GMT - 13:02) with geographical coordinates 41.51 ° north latitude and 46, 98 ° east longitude, 31 kilometers southeast of Zaqatala in Azerbaijan. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 10 km.

The earthquake was also felt in Noyemberyan and villages Koti, Berdavan and Koghb of Tavush region of Armenia - with the intensity of 3 magnitudes.
