Armenia is ranked fifth among the nations of the former Soviet Union where US dollar went up in Jan.-July 2011 against the local currency making 0,01% (from 363.44 AMD to 363.48 AMD), reads the report by BelaPAN.

Belarus tops the list with rate growth of 65,27% (from 3.000 to 4.958 rubles) followed by Tajikistan with 7,02% growth (from 4.4031 to 4.7121 somoni), Uzbekistan with 5,18% growth (from 1.640 to 1.724,94 som) and Ukraine with 0,12% growth (from 7.9617 to 7.9712 hryvnia).

US dollar remained unchanged in Turkmenistan, whereas in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia and Russia US dollar went down over the recent seven months. 

In July, the official dollar exchange rate in Armenia has decreased by 1,46%.
