YEREVAN. – A regular meeting of the interdepartmental commission coordinating the work of preventing the spread of coronavirus in Armenia took place Tuesday, and it was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, the government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan presented the current epidemiological situation of coronavirus in the capital Yerevan and the provinces, and the process of vaccination against this disease. She stressed that although the recent results show positive dynamics, this period should be used and the vaccination process in Armenia should be continued to avoid high mortality rates in the event of a new wave of the coronavirus.
