The armies of the Philippines and Indonesia have agreed to conduct joint exercises aimed at improving interoperability and counter-terrorism capabilities. As reported on Monday by The Philadelphia Inquirer, the maneuvers will take place from 1 to 5 August.

The agreement to conduct the exercise was reached during a four-day planning conference, which was held with the participation of representatives of the Indonesian Land Forces last week in Manila.
