Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the delegation headed by Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance Ehsan Khandouzi, Armenian government informed NEWS.am.

The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of Iranian Minister's visit on the eve of the 17th meeting of the Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission and underlined the government's readiness to develop ties with friendly Iran.

The interlocutors discussed the expansion of trade-economic relations between the two countries. In this context, the sides attached importance to the discussions on the promotion of trade turnover, as well as the facilitation of customs and border control procedures.

The sides touched upon the possibilities to realize the existing potential for deepening collaboration with Iran within the frames of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Deputy Prime Minister and Iranian Minister also exchanged views on the existing potential for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy and infrastructure development.
