China successfully launched 5 remote sensing satellites Jilin-1 Gaofen-03G /04-07//Gaofen-04A /04-07/ on Saturday into a specified orbit from a platform in the East China Sea, Xinhua reported.

The satellites were launched at 11:30 a.m. Beijing time using the CZ-11 /Changcheng-11 or Great Hike-11/ launch vehicle.

The spacecraft is primarily designed to provide commercial remote sensing services in areas such as land surveying, urban planning, disaster monitoring, etc.

This was the 418th launch of the Changcheng series of spacecraft.
