Armenian Human Rights Defender Kristine Grigoryan held a meeting with Georgian Ombudsman Nino Lomjaria via video link.

During the conversation, Lomjaria congratulated Grigoryan on his election to the post and reaffirmed her readiness to deepen cooperation, the office of the Armenian Ombudsman reported.

In turn, the Human Rights Defender of Armenia presented the priorities of their activities. The progress of the implementation of the joint program of the ombudsmen's offices of the two countries, aimed at building capacity in the field of socio-economic rights of individuals, was also discussed, as well as new joint program areas were outlined. Grigoryan and Lomjaria also outlined a schedule of upcoming contacts and mutual visits.
