The price of copper on Thursday is reduced by more than 1% on fears for the prospects for the economy of the largest importer - China, according to trading data.

July futures for copper on the Comex stock exchange is getting cheaper by 1.12%, to 4.221 dollars per pound (about 0.45 kilograms).

On the London Metal Exchange (LME), on Wednesday, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months fell by 0.85% to $9,373, aluminum - by 0.95% to $2,874, zinc - by 1.06% to $3,750.5.
