Armenian Health Ministry reported about 50 injured citizens in the clashes between opposition supporters and police officers, the Ministry's press service reported, citing data as of 23:00.

"As a result of the incident, which occurred at the intersection of Proshyan and Demirchyan streets, both civilians (16 people) and police officers (34 people) were injured," the statement reads.

The condition of one of the victims is assessed as serious: he is being operated.
