The Turkish authorities are preparing to purchase grain from Ukraine at a discount of more than 25%. This is reported by the publication Yeni Şafak with reference to the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirisci.

According to the official, Ankara is doing everything possible to unblock grain exports from Ukrainian ports.

However, they face a dilemma in terms of security and export of products and want Turkey to act as an arbiter in this process, Kirisci said.

Two important meetings will be held in Turkey next week to discuss the supply of Ukrainian grain to world markets. Representatives of Russia will attend one of the discussions, the minister added.
