A meeting was held Thursday under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, on the development of existing transit opportunities in the country, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

Officials, heads of relevant ministries, and state companies attended the meeting.

The meeting analyzed the current situation and forecasts in international cargo transportation, and discussed legal, administrative, and technical issues to expand the capacity of Azerbaijan in all categories of cargo, including increasing economic efficiency in cargo transportation.
