Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried on Saturday.

During the meeting, Grigoryan presented the regional security situation and Armenia's views on addressing priority security issues, the National Security Council press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In turn, the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council presented the process of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations at Donfried's request.

The interlocutors highlighted the importance of continuing the development of bilateral relations based on democratic values.
