ASTANA. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan participated in an informal summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on Friday.

The summit was attended by the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

The participants touched upon issues of security and stability in the CSTO member states as well as a number of issues concerning global and regional problems.
