At its Cabinet meeting Thursday, the government of Armenia decided to redistribute this year's state budget and allocate 2,110,807,400 drams (approx. US$5 million) to the Ministry of Health—and from the government's reserve fund.

The reasoning of this decision states that the adoption of the draft decision is conditioned by the coronavirus-related situation in Armenia.

As a result of the implementation of this government decision, safe anti-epidemic and preventive services are expected to be provided the country’s population
