In recent times, Iran does not sell diesel fuel and gasoline at all in foreign markets, and therefore most of the diesel fuel and gasoline come to Armenia from Russia. Chairman of the Competition Protection Commission of Armenia, Gegham Gevorgyan, told this to reporters Thursday.

He informed that the quantity of diesel fuel being supplied from Iran to Armenia changes on a regular basis.

According to him, the prices of diesel fuel are affected not only by the exchange rate of the US dollar, but because the stock exchange price of diesel fuel has considerably increased all over the world.

"At the moment, I do not see any problems in that domain in connection with us [i.e., Armenia]. If we had seen them, we would have launched a case," Gevorgyan stressed.
