Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Artsakh Republic State Minister Artak Beglaryan on Friday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The interlocutors discussed the situation in Artsakh as a result of Azerbaijani aggression in 2020 and the progress in solving the humanitarian problems.
In particular, the sides touched upon the efforts made to voice the rights of the forcibly displaced population in international instances, as well as to address the challenges they face.
In this context, Ararat Mirzoyan and Artak Beglaryan highlighted the necessity of the unimpeded involvement of international humanitarian organizations in order to address the socio-economic consequences in a comprehensive and meaningful way.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on prospects for a peaceful and just resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, highlighting the importance of mutual harmonization of efforts by Armenia and Artsakh.
