Thanks to intensive construction work and the efforts of the Georgian side, traffic has recently been restored in Lars, the road is open, spokesperson for the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Sona Harutyunyan wrote on her Facebook page.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am earlier reported, the Stepantsminda-Lars road was closed for all types of vehicles. Because of heavy rains, the Terek river overflowed its banks and flooded the road, the damaged part of which is 80 kilometers long.
