YEREVAN. - Speaker Alen Simonyan of the Republic of Armenia National Assembly (RA NA) on Tuesday received a delegation led by the deputy chairman Alexey Gordeyev of the Russian State Duma, the NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The President of the National Assembly stressed that adequate work is underway in the further development of the Armenian-Russian allied relations in various spheres. He underlined that the political dialogue between Armenia and Russia is of stable strategic character, and the key of success is the effective dialogue between the first persons of the two countries. Simonyan highlighted the interparliamentary cooperation and the availability of the non-interrupting agendas.

The sides documented that they intend to give a boost to the cooperation dynamics of the two countries, taking into consideration the political events of the regional and international other platforms.

At the meeting, the importance of Armenian-Russian economic relations in the global integration processes was discussed, especially reflecting on the perspectives of the Eurasian Economic Union.
