The 30-year cooperation between Yerevan and Marseille will receive a new impetus, developing in various areas of the city's economy. The mayor of Yerevan was received by the deputies of the mayors of Marseille, as the mayor of Marseille Benoit Payan contracted COVID-19, the press service of the Yerevan Municipality reported.

Welcoming the Mayor of Yerevan, Deputy Mayor of Marseille noted that the cooperation between the two cities has great potential for development and deepening, which should be used to the benefit of the residents of Yerevan and Marseille.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan noted that this visit is a good opportunity to outline priority areas that will serve as the basis for developing a new three-year program. The parties highlighted the importance of sharing experiences among professionals and stressed that cities facing similar challenges should join forces to achieve results.
