The Turkish authorities have closed access to Deutsche Welle and Voice of America due to the lack of a broadcasting license, the Sabah newspaper writes on Friday.

According to the latest information, access to the German news site Deutsche Welle and the American Voice of America, which did not receive a broadcasting license from the High Council for Radio and Television (RTÜK), has been closed. Both institutions have announced that they will not file a complaint against the warning given to them by RTÜK.

The publication clarifies that RTÜK had previously warned the news sites dw.com, tr.euronews.com and americaninsesi.com, which decided to provide broadcasting services on the Internet without obtaining a broadcasting license.
