YEREVAN. – The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Sweden have exchanged congratulatory messages on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

In his message, Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan particularly noted that Armenia and Sweden have forged a comprehensive agenda of bilateral relations, and reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to foster cooperation. Also, Mirzoyan noted that the Armenian-Swedish cooperation has gained momentum thank to Sweden's long-term commitment to support the democratic reforms in Armenia—the evidence of which is the establishment of a resident Embassy in Yerevan, the resumption of bilateral development cooperation, and the growing interest of Swedish companies in the Armenian economy.

Swedish FM Ann Linde, in her congratulatory message, expressed deep appreciation for the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and reiterated commitment to continue good bilateral relations and cooperation.
