Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian on Wednesday, Anadolu reported.

According to Turkish Foreign Ministry, the heads of diplomacy discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations, the situation in the Middle East and the progress of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.

The topic of floods and mudflows in Iran was touched upon.
