From the early morning on Wednesday, the third day after the tragic explosion at the Surmalu shopping market in Yerevan, people are laying flowers nearby the aforesaid market—and in memory of those who died as a result of this blast.

"I did not know any of the casualties. But if none of my relatives was affected [in the explosion], it does not mean that I should be indifferent because any representative of my nation, except for enemies and traitors of the nation, are dear. All the casualties are my beloved. This is how I pay my respects," one of those who laid flowers told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has informed that people can lay flowers and light candles nearby the Surmalu market—and in memory of the casualties of the aforesaid explosion.
