This year we are ready to start teaching Georgian language in some schools in Armenia. Vahram Dumanyan, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, said this at a press briefing Thursday.
But these Georgian language courses, according to him, will not be mandatory.
"It is not only about the schools located in the [Georgian] border regions of the republic," Dumanyan said.
The minister added that the respective details will be provided later.
