Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulidis.

Ioannis Kasoulidis expressed his condolences over the human casualties of the August 14 explosion at the Surmalu shopping center, and wished the injured a speedy recovery, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported. The Foreign Ministers expressed satisfaction with the high level of Armenia-Cyprus relations.

The sides discussed the perspectives of further expansion and strengthening of the cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.The sides also touched upon regional security issues.
