The war in Ukraine will put an end to Western supremacy, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said told German publication Tichys Einblick.

According to him, after the end of the war in Ukraine, the EU will be weaker than before, while other countries and regions will win. First, the West cannot win the war in Ukraine militarily; second, the sanctions have in no way destabilized Russia; third, their damage to Europe is enormous; fourth, the world is not lined up behind the United States and Ukraine.

He noted that much of the world did not support the West, countries like China, India, Brazil, South Africa, the Arab world, Africa. It may well be that this particular war will demonstrably put an end to Western supremacy.

Those who have their own energy sources win. EU imports from Russia have dropped by a quarter, while Gazprom's revenues have doubled. The Chinese, who used to be at the mercy of the Arabs, have won.  And, of course, the big US corporations are winning, the head of government said, referring to the dramatic increase in profits of US energy corporations.
