A meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia and Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili of Georgia will take place Friday at the Armenian-Georgian border. Armen Khachatryan, Head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Prime Minister's Office, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.
Pashinyan is currently on hand at the official opening of the Friendship Bridge at the aforesaid border.
The construction of this bridge at the Sadakhlo (Georgia)-Bagratashen (Armenia) checkpoint of the Armenian-Georgian border had started in May 2021. The new two-part bridge meets international standards, and its capacity will be greater. It was put into trial operation at the beginning of August.
