My visit to Russia has been canceled. Armen Pambukhchyan, the head of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations, wrote about it on his Facebook page.
He noted in particular:
"On August 17-20, I was to take part in the 13th meeting of the Coordination Council for Emergency Situations and the 3rd International Fire and Rescue Conference. Because of the tragic events at Surmalu Trade Center my visit was cancelled.
On behalf of Armenia my representative to the Russian Federation, Colonel Artak Ghazaryan from the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations took part in the aforementioned events".
