The White House said that Volodymyr Zelenskyy should attend the upcoming G20 summit if Russian President Vladimir Putin attends, Bloomberg reports.

Earlier, Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to attend the G20 summit in Bali in November.

According to a statement from the National Security Council, Washington believes that Zelenskyy should attend the event if Putin really intends to attend.

The agency notes that the US call leaves open the possibility of Zelenskyy's remote participation in the summit.
