We still have 40 square meters of territory to search for the remains of one man. His name is Vanik, Hovhannes Yemishyan, deputy head of the Rescue Service of the Armenian Emergencies Ministry, told reporters today.
He said that the canine service is also involved in the work.
"The Ministry of Emergency Situations will not take part in the investigation of the causes of the explosion. It is not part of our authority," Yemishyan added.
The explosion with fire in the Surmalu shopping center killed 16 people. A criminal case was filed under Article 357 Part 2 and Article 358 Part 2 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
