YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: On September 2, the 31st anniversary of the independence of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] will be celebrated this year again without the RA ruling elite. The prime minister has never set foot in Artsakh [Republic (AR)] after the war [in the fall of 2020].

"Will NA [(National Assembly)] President Alen Simonyan or the [ruling majority] CC [(‘Civil Contract’) Faction of the NA] MPs head for Artsakh?" we asked Tsovinar Khachatryan, NA President's spokesperson.

"Mr. Simonyan has not received an invitation from the AR NA president to be in Artsakh on September 2. As for the question of whether he will be in Artsakh on that day, as well as whether or not there will be MPs [from Armenia] there, we will inform a little later."

However, according to our information, no one from the government or the parliament [of Armenia] will head for Artsakh, although a month and a half ago AR NA president Artur Tovmasyan had invited all RA NA factions to Artsakh on September 2 to celebrate the 31st anniversary of independence.
