Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan was present in Stepanakert at the opening ceremony of the monument to Artyom Avagyan, perished during the 44-day war in Artsakh.

The head of state paid tribute and expressed gratitude to Artyom Avagyan's parents for raising their heroic son in a patriotic spirit. At the same time the President noted that remembering and glorifying all those who fell for the independence and freedom of the homeland, we will continue to defend and develop the Republic of Artsakh.
