Samsung suppliers have suffered due to the correction of the Korean corporation's plans for the production of smartphones, according to the Korean edition of ETNews.

Journalists cite sources in several companies that supply components for Samsung smartphones. So, one supplier had to reduce the production of parts for the main customer and even suspend the operation of the enterprise for the first time in 15 years. Representatives of another company said that they had to halve the production of optical components for Samsung for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to insiders, almost all suppliers of the Korean IT giant, except for a few manufacturers of camera modules, have suffered due to the slowdown in the release of smartphones. The specialists specified that this situation was caused by sluggish demand in the global market.
