According to the agreement signed between Moscow, Kiev, and Ankara, all grain exported from the territory of Ukraine was eventually sent to Europe, not to developing countries. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, Interfax reports.

"We did everything with Turkey to export Ukrainian grain. If Turkey is excluded as an intermediary country, practically all the grain exported from Ukraine is not sent to the poorest developing countries, but to European Union countries," Putin said, noting that only two of the 87 ships were sent within the framework of the UN World Food Program.

"And with them, 60 thousand tons of food products were exported out of 2 million tons. I want to say that, as many European countries acted as colonialists during the last decades and centuries, so they continue to act today. Once again, they simply deceived the developing countries and continue to deceive [them]," added the Russian president.

Also, Putin expressed his view that with such an approach, the scale of food problems in the world will only increase and lead to an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.

The Russian president stressed that he plans to discuss with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the possibility of limiting the grain and food exports from Ukraine to Europe.

"I will certainly consult with the President of Turkey, Mr. Erdogan, on this matter," Putin said.
