Talks have started with Turkey; we hope to improve relations with Turkey, with the assistance of Russia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in his address Wednesday at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia.

Pashinyan added that there are intensive talks with Azerbaijan regarding the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) issue.

"And in this matter, too, we rely on the assistance of the Russian Federation—not only as a strategic ally of Armenia, but also as a close partner of Azerbaijan. I would also like to emphasize the role of the Russian Federation as the co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, which deals with the settlement of the Karabakh problem," the Armenian premier noted.
