Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said that opening communications through the territory of Armenia and for Armenia is definitely beneficial. His remarks came during a meeting with the Armenian community in Vladivostok.
"Those who are engaged in economic activities can tell how much the existence of railways and roads changes things. We did a study and found that food prices are higher in Armenia than in many countries. And we approach the problem of transportation," he said.
"If opening up communications benefits us, we can't go for solutions that benefit only us and don't benefit everyone else. For example, cars from Iran and Georgia can go in and out of Armenia, we are not against that, we are for the same with Turkey and Azerbaijan. The final agreement on this issue has not been reached yet. This is due to some legal norms, on which our views do not yet fully converge. After agreement on this issue, we will very quickly resolve the issue of routes, resolve the issue of opening practical roads, " said Prime Minister, adding that he counts on the support of all Armenians in these issues.
