A delegation led by Philip Reeker, the new US Senior Adviser for Caucasus Negotiations and new Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group for the US, on Thursday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, informed the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

Reeker was accompanied by the US Ambassador to Armenia, Lynne Tracy.

Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Harutyun Marutyan, welcomed the guests and briefed them of the history of the creation of this memorial.

Also, briefed the guests on the history of the three cross-stones placed nearby the memorial—and which are dedicated to the Armenians who died during the ethnic cleansing of the Armenian population in Azerbaijan at the end of the last century.
