Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain has died at the age of 96, Buckingham Palace announced.

As previously reported, doctors have expressed concerns about her health. Buckingham Palace that the queen is under medical supervision in Balmoral, where all members of the royal family arrived.

Buckingham Palace said the queen postponed an online meeting of the Privy Council after doctors advised her to rest. The palace said the 96-year-old monarch had taken the advice of doctors.
