YEREVAN. – Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan met with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Ministry of Economy of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

At the beginning of the talk, the participants discussed the possibilities of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of economy.

Armenia's new economic strategy is based on knowledge, and the ADB has already incorporated knowledge and innovation into their programs. In this context, the needs of Armenia that need assistance were discussed.

The ADB representatives were interested also in sustainable development projects in Armenia; in particular, in solar power plants and other innovative projects.

During the conversation, the minister of economy added that Armenia strives to become a country that not only uses, but also creates technology.
