The workers of the Surmalu and Petak shopping markets in Yerevan are holding a protest since early Saturday morning.
They complain about the closure of traffic at a part of the street across after the explosion—and as a result of which it is difficult to carry out shopping in the working part of these two markets that face each other.
The workers complain that they suffer as a result, and demand a solution to this issue. They announce that, otherwise, they will go on strike.
A strong explosion took place at the Surmalu shopping market on August 14. As a result, there were 16 casualties, including a pregnant woman and a small child. One person is still considered missing; but the search for him has been stopped.
