Arman Tatoyan, the former human rights defender of Armenia, referred to ongoing shooting near Armenian borders.

“The armed attacks unleashed by Azerbaijan against Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Gegharkunik provinces of Armenia are absolutely criminal, they are an open aggression against Armenia,” he wrote on his Facebook.

“These acts are the result of impunity for Azerbaijani war crimes, a consequence of genocidal policy. It is clear that they were creating artificial grounds for attack under the guise of false peace,” he added.

The Azerbaijani armed forces opened an intense artillery fire on Tuesday night near Armenian borders.

The reports have been confirmed by the defense ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan, who noted that the adversary also used UAVs.
