The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remains extremely tense as of 04:00 on September 13, spokesperson for Defense Minister Aram Torosyan told a briefing.

According to him, the intensity of the exchange of fire, which began as a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, is not weakening.

“The Azerbaijani Armed Forces continue to use heavy equipment, UAVs and mortars on Armenian Armed Forces positions and settlements. Positions located in the direction of Sotq, Vardenis, Goris, Kapan, Artanish and Ishkhanasar were fired on. Civilian objects are also attacked," Torosyan said.

He also said that in some directions Azerbaijani armed forces attempted to move into positions. The fight is still going on. The death toll of the Armenian side is being specified.
