Many members of the European Parliament (EP) called on European Commission (EC) head Ursula von der Leyen not to buy gas from Azerbaijan, which is attacking Armenia's sovereign territory, but to take measures to stop the hostilities, TASS reported.
The initiative has been supported particularly by French EP members François-Xavier Bellamy and Jordan Bardella.
For his part, Bulgarian MP Andrei Kovachev called on the EC head to do everything possible to stop the killing of people.
