The opposition "Armenia" and "With Honor" Factions of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia have 35 signatures to start a process of no confidence in PM Nikol Pashinyan and his government; 18 signatures are lacking at the moment. This was announced by Seyran Ohanyan, leader of the "Armenia" Faction and former defense minister of Armenia, during a protest in front of the parliament building, and he urged the MPs of the ruling majority “Civil Contract” Faction of the NA to come and sign the respective document.

"They are forcing Armenia to provide a corridor for the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem. That circle is tightening day by day, the important criminal is Azerbaijan and the provocations it has carried out, but the Armenian authorities have not done anything on the international platform to properly present Azerbaijan's crime. The defeated [Armenian] authorities have a hang-up both inside and on the external platform, and the pressure on them continues.

The person at the helm of the [Armenian] government, knowing that the adversary [i.e., Azerbaijan] will start military operations if there is any refusal, they have done nothing to prepare for it. Our task is to remove the defeated authorities [from power], our task is to remove the negotiator. Only with the presence of a strong fist can we get Armenia and Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] out of this situation. Removing the person sitting at the helm of the government is our agenda today," said Ohanyan.

The protesters outside the NA building gave the ruling force MPs time until 1:15am to come and sign the demand for starting a process of no confidence in PM Nikol Pashinyan and his government.
