Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk on Monday. Overchuk leads a Russian delegation that arrived in Yerevan to participate in the 9th Armenian-Russian Interregional Forum, the Armenian-Russian Business Dialogue, and the meeting of co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, Pashinyan noted that despite tension on the border as a result of Azerbaijani aggression, it was decided not to postpone the activities aimed at further development of cooperation between Armenia and Russia in various areas, the press service of the Armenian Cabinet informed NEWS.am. He expressed hope that the joint events held in Yerevan would contribute to further expansion of cooperation.
The sides discussed Armenian-Russian cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
