United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, at a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in New York, considered it important to normalize the relations between Baku and Yerevan, as per a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Guterres noted the importance of the process of regulation and reduction of tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the situation in the region.
