Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day anniversary. The message says as follows, in particular:

"We attach great importance to friendly, allied relations with Armenia. It is important that our countries successfully cooperate in various domains, coordinate efforts within the EAEU, CSTO, CIS, and other multilateral organizations.

I am confident that the further development of constructive bilateral ties stems from the fundamental interests of the Russian and Armenian peoples, and the consistent implementation of the trilateral statements signed in 2020 and 2021 is a good basis for ensuring long-term peace and security in Transcaucasia."
