Iran will not allow changes in borders and instability in the region. This was announced by Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri.

"The armed forces of Iran, respecting the principles of good-neighborliness and international norms, declare that they will not allow instability and change of borders. We advise Armenia and Azerbaijan to solve their problems peacefully," said Bagheri.

The high-ranking military officer noted that Iran is interested in the development of the region without threats.

As for Iran's policy, Tehran does not unleash conflicts and wars, but it does not remain silent when they start, he emphasized.

Iran's military power is intended only for defense, Bagheri assured.
