At its  Cabinet meeting Thursday, the government of Armenia adopted a decision proposing to extend for one year, until December 30, 2023, the state assistance being provided to businesses in the amount of additional 100 drams of state duties paid for acquiring the right to sell other batches of brandy alcohol after exceeding the 100 thousand—calculated at 100 percent alcohol—liters delivery time.

Accordingly, this decision will enable to ensure the export of about 9 million liters of brandy alcohol and to plan further activities, including the amount of grape procurement.

Taking into account that Armenia’s respective businesses have more than 44.4 million liters of brandy alcohol residue and it is necessary to provide free storage capacities for brandy alcohol for the procurement of grape harvest, it is necessary to extend the period of providing the above-mentioned state assistance in order to promote the export of brandy alcohol and to plan future activities.
