Armenian and Dominican Republic Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Roberto Alvarez met in New York on Friday in the margins of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Foreign Ministry's press service informed NEWS.am.
Minister Mirzoyan presented to his counterpart the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed the bilateral agenda of Armenian-Dominican relations, and exchanged views on joint steps to further develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest. In this regard, the recent accreditation of the ambassadors of the two countries was highlighted.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Roberto Alvarez also discussed issues related to cooperation in international organizations.
